"Meta Tags - Example of "Page Head"

The "page head" of your HTML code is where the meta tags are placed.  Check out an example from one of WomanOwned.com's pages:

<head>
<title>Learning All You Need To Know About Starting Your Own Business</title>
<meta name="revisit-after" content="30 days">
<meta name="classification" content="Business and Economy">
<meta name="description" content="Learn all that you need to know to start a successful business.  Womanowned.com has pages of helpful information to get you moving in the right direction.">
<meta name="keywords" content="starting a business, becoming CEO, success, research the market, market research, business strategy, learn about start-ups, womanowned, concept development, develop a business idea, start-up capital, money, hiring an accountant, hiring a lawyer, accounting, building business success">
</head>

Notice that the three main meta tag headings are in bold print here.  Information about the content on this page is placed after each one.  This is generally what your "head" of your HTML should look like (with the information from your pages instead of course!).  Be sure not to use a keyword more than four times or the search engines may assume you are trying to spam them.  Because key "words" are more often key "phrases", this can become tricky.  Notice that our keyword "business" is close to spamming, but remains at an even 4 repetitions.  This would be okay.
